Hlade's Law

Hlade's Law states that:

"If you have a difficult task, give it to a lazy person; they will find an easier way to do it."

I don't know how much I buy into the whole "laziness is good" that programmers espouse. I find that lazy people will put off a task in the hopes you will forget about it rather than automate it.

Could definitely relate to this. I choose to be a lazy programmer in a way that I want to produce less code that does more. Lazy programmers dream of libraries that makes their jobs easier. The good kind of lazy goes out of his way to build these kinds of libraries. Most developers make do of what's available making little room for innovation. This applies not only in programming but also in every technology we have today. Try watching How We Invented the World in Discovery :)
